Introducing the City


Hello again friends.

As usual, I apologize for taking so long in this new build. But as you can see, this is the biggest change yet: the city!


If you've read my past posts, you know I had been struggling with a new to build a big city without sacrificing much performance. After lots of testing I finally came with a good solution. And so finally there is a proper, believable, and web-swingable(?) city to traverse :D

Though there is not much to do in it, not yet.

The gameplay hasn't changed much, except for the fact that I removed fall damage altogether, since it was just frustrating. I really like ragdolls tho, I hope I can implement them in some way in the future.


Currently, I'm happy that I finally managed to solve the biggest problem that I had, and now I have a proper foundation to work with for future updates. There is locations that I want to add, characters to interact with, and finally, for real this time, the story.

Also, this is meant to fix the issue of players constantly getting stuck on the geometry of my wonky terrain. 


The more I work on Theanthria, the more I realize how big of a project it actually is, and while I'm confident I can do a lot of it on my own, I see I really need help.

At this moment I'm trying to decide whether to work on a "Chapter 1" of sorts, and then go from there, or start a Kickstarter campaign with what I have currently. But Kickstarter seems more like the right choice as days go by.

I'll let you know what I decide.
